Botswana v Guinea betting preview

Its the basement battle in Group D for Botswana (150/1 for the title) and Guinea (66/1 for the title) in Saturday afternoons early kick-off, both sides were on the wrong end of 1-0 defeats in their respective openers against African super powers Ghana and the impressive Mali teams, one more defeat for either side and the AFCON 2012 tournament is over.

Botswana (16/5 for the match) started well against their more famour Ghanaian opponents in their Group opener but unfortunately fell behind to a John Mensah first halt strike and despite all the effort they couldn’t muster an equalising goal. If they can turn that 1-0 defeat around it would pay out 15/2.

Guinea had plenty of the game when they took on a formidable looking Mali side, they gave away a first half Traore goal and couldn’t get back into, they’re not going to find it much easier against a Botswana side that parked the team bus in front of the goal against Ghana and are well capable of doing it again.

A 0-0 draw between these two shot shy sides is a 6/1 bet and it will be the first stalemate of the tournament if it happens. Guinean Striker Ismael Bangoura will be wanting to rule out the bore draw byt scoring he is on offer at 5/1 to score the first / last goal or 15/8 to score at anytime.

Betting Tips

Not a lot of Goals in this but Guinea may just have enough to make it past Botswana. Botswana 0-1 Guinea paying out 4/1.

Ismael miller to score at anytime and Guinea win 1-0 pays out 13/1.
